How to get or write good content for your website?

If you want to have a website then you probably also want to list it in most of search engines like google, yahoo, aol etc. For that rich content is basic necessity. If your website is simple, tidy and with rich content which is updated periodically, you will have more viewer. And I don’t need to tell you that more viewers mean more chance of getting rich. Good and rich content keeps the viewer coming back on your website in search of something new.
The best way to get rich and good content for your website is to write it by yourself. I recommend constant reading, add new information to your site, research and observe what others are doing (especially competitors) to stay ahead of curve. And if you enjoy it, it never feels like a real work.

I also suggest you to be a hard worker and put some serious time to plan and design a website. Since successful website creation is a slow process and you can’t be a stranger to hard work. A successful Internet entrepreneur never says, “I hate spending time updating my website and learning how to market on the Internet.”

Let me be honest. The online world is not for everyone. Many people don’t want or even have the time to spend in front of their PC going through the learning curve, researching, writing content, etc. For them, there are many content writers and even free content on net are available. But if you really want to succeed and look different from others, do this work for yourself. You can also hire a web developer like us to do all research and develop a website for you.

Keep in mind that website and internet is an active media and if you content are not interesting then chances of getting away from your website is high. People rarely read web pages word-by-word; instead, they just scan the page, picking out individual words and sentences. I will write other article about “how people read websites” but till than, you can write scannable web pages using following points

• highlighted keywords (hypertext links serve as one form of highlighting; typeface variations and color are others)
• meaningful sub-headings (not “clever” ones)
• bulleted lists
• one idea per paragraph (users will skip over any additional ideas if they are not caught by the first few words in the paragraph)
• the inverted pyramid style, starting with the conclusion
• half the word count (or less) than conventional writing
I found that credibility is important for Web users, since it is unclear who is behind information on the Web and whether a page can be trusted. Credibility can be increase by high-quality graphics, good writing, and use of outbound hypertext links. Links to other sites show that the authors have done their homework and are not afraid to let readers visit other sites.
